Tamino On Rails
Software AG is the largest provider of software products in the field of Business Infrastructure worldwide. The WebMethods Tamino XML Server by Software AG is an award-winning high performance XML server for data management based on standard Internet technologies.
ROCKET RENTALS developed the middleware component "Tamino on Rails" (see press release), for Software AG. Tamino on Rails is the official interface between the Tamino XML Server and the MVC based web framework Ruby on Rails. Amongst others, the middleware consists of a high performance DBMS adapter on Ruby basis as well as of an ActiveResource abstraction for RESTful data access.

Enterprise Knowledge Management
x:scio AG with headquarters in Wiesbaden develops individual strategies for knowledge management in medium and large-sized companies. x:scio Enterprise Knowledge Management is a web-based knowledge management platform that makes the knowledge of all employees accessible in the company-wide Intranet.
Besides project management responsibilites, ROCKET RENTALS was in charge of implementing the software platform on which the x:scio Enterprise Knowledge Management is based. This included central data storage, integration of external data sources, import and export interfaces for current Office formats (Word, Excel, Access), as well as role-based access control.
